Bureau of Meteorology Warns of Exceedingly High Temperatures

The Bureau of Meteorology is warning that the extremely high temperatures experienced throughout the month of October are a consequence of El Nino and are likely to continue.

The highest temperatures ever experienced around this time of the year in Australia were recorded this October and the dry conditions didn’t help.

With the lack of rainfall, dry conditions conducive to fires are expected to continue.
